Made a trip downtown to Rocket Doughnuts to check out what vegan delights they have to offer. We tried their chocolate cake and maple cake doughnuts. Mmmmmmmmmmm so good. Rocket Doughnuts sits on the corner of Holly St. and Bay St. in Bellingham.

'The Market' on Lakeway offers the most options for vegan groceries and other earth and animal friendly products in Bellingham....but we found that certain items are far less expensive at Trader Joe's. Both are great places to shop.

A Greek treat for vegans... At Cafe' Akroteri the service was stellar and
the meal outstanding. The lentil soup was full with flavor and the Dolmas
fresh and satisfying...loved the pine nuts in them. With the addition of a Greek

salad (minus the feta) and pita with hummus, we left the cafe' full and happy. Cafe'
Akroteri is located at 1219 Cornwall Avenue in downtown Bellingham.

Rudy's offers great vegan pizza options...indeed the best pizza in town.
